The villages christmas cribs

At the start of the 1990s, the Commission de la famille de Thimister-Clermont, a community development organisation, decided to call on the creative talents of its local population. The Commission invited the area's inhabitants to build cribs in their gardens, in order to brighten up the short Winter days, and to create an atmosphere of peace, wonder and fun during the Advent period.

The weekend before Christmas a list of all the cribs built is drawn up and a discovery walk is mapped with the backing of the Communal administration.

Generally, the walk ends at the Remember Museum, where you can warm up on some seasonal refreshments (mulled wine, pancakes and so on) and on the good humoured atmosphere.

So... you are cordially invited, should you wish it, to introduce yourself to, and take part in the life of our commune.
